Simpson Helmet Shields are offered in clear as well as stylish and functional tints. Please ensure you select the proper size. When ordering a shield for your motorcycle helmet, keep these considerations in mind:

  • Clear shields are generally used for night or very low light conditions
  • Amber shields provide a minimal amount of tinting that's ideally suited to overcast weather
  • Tinted shields can help to eliminate glare during daytime riding
  • Some people find that mirrored shields block even more sunlight than tinted shields and Iridium shields provide the most protection from both sunlight and glare

Overall awesome

Got the silver smoke lense. Works great in the sun and still comfortable when it’s overcast. Love the look! When I pulled it from the box it wasn’t quite I expected, didn’t look mirrored at all but once it was on the helmet made it fully mirrored.

Doesn’t fit

Product doesn’t fit my helmet. Correct helmet, correct part, but the lock doesn’t line up with the hole.

Hey Mark, sorry to hear you are having issues with your Outlaw Bandit shield. If your helmet is the Gen 1 model of Outlaw Bandit that could be why it is not fitting correctly. If you are still having issues with the shield then please hit up our customer service for assistance with a return or finding a shield that fits.

Simpson Outlaw Bandit Helmet Shield

We ordered the Shield for my new helmet over the internet as we live in Ontario. Unfortunately, to my surprise, the shield was the incorrect size. We contacted Gastown and they had a return slip to us that day. We sent the shield back to Gastown and they refunded the cost of the shield, together with the shipping charges, so there was no cost to us. As it happened, we went to the Toronto Motorcycle show a couple of days after we mailed the return, and were able to purchase the correct shield at Gastown's booth at the show. We were very happy with the service both online and at the show and will deal with Gastown again should the chance arise. Great guys at the Toronto who were very helpful. 5 stars to Gastown and their customer service.
